Dear Students and Families,
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Cristo Rey Baton Rouge Franciscan High School community! We are thrilled with the response from the Greater Baton Rouge community and look forward to welcoming a new class of eager freshmen to fill our school for the 2017-2018 school year. Cristo Rey is an affordable, safe, co-educational, college preparatory high school in the Greater Baton Rouge area. We are the 32nd Cristo Rey school in the United States.
In addition to academically preparing for college, each student works five full days per month, in an entry-level position at one of many Corporate Work Study Program Partners. This innovative program provides valuable work experience as well as fund part of their education. Cristo Rey also offers financial aid to qualified students. Every activity at Cristo Rey is done with the intention of shaping our students into “men and women of faith, purpose, and service.”
Cristo Rey serves the area’s economically disadvantaged students of all faiths, by opening the door to excellence in higher education, the workforce, community citizenship and Catholic values. We are “the school that works” in the heart of Baton Rouge!
Applications are available online or in the Admissions Office. We invite you to register for a private campus tour. We look forward to meeting you and hope that you will consider being part of the Class of 2021!
