Although the cost to educate each student is approximately $13,630 per year – which includes books, use of student laptop, breakfast, lunch, and sport fees – Cristo Rey Baton Rouge Franciscan High School is committed to making a high quality, Catholic college preparatory education available to qualified students from low-to-moderate income families.
Students earn 60% of the cost of their education through our innovative Corporate Work Study Program. Scholarships from individuals and foundations cover another 25-30% of the cost. The remaining cost of the student’s education is the family’s responsibility. This amount ranges from $250-$2,500 per year ($25 to $250 per month for 10 months), based upon financial assessment.
While every family is expected to make some financial contribution to their child’s education, the Finance Office will work with each family to determine the appropriate amount.
Nondiscriminatory Policy: Cristo Rey Baton Rouge High School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, program and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs.
